Cardiology Care for El Segundo’s Aerospace and Tech Workforce
You don’t have to be retired to land on a cardiologist’s calendar. El Segundo’s daily population — Boeing, Raytheon, Mattel, and the SpaceX-adjacent campuses — is full of forty- and fifty-year-olds putting in long hours and seeing their PCP twice a year. When the annual physical flags something, CACVI’s Beverly Hills office handles the workup without forcing a three-month wait.
For El Segundo professionals working under tight schedules, two things matter: the speed of getting a clear answer, and the depth of the physician giving it. CACVI is led by Drs. Khorsandi and Lala, who together have performed over 15,000 cardiac and vascular procedures and personally read every echo and angiogram for the patients they treat. No handoffs to a fellow, no scheduling tag between three medical groups.
Find out the cause of your heart condition.
Our in-office cardiac evaluation is built to answer the practical question — should you be worried, and if so, what’s the plan? El Segundo patients come in for coronary artery disease, AFib, heart failure, arrhythmias, post-heart attack care, and valve disease. If a corporate-benefit cardiac screening came back abnormal, bring the report — we’d rather start from data than redo the same tests. Schedule an appointment.
El Segundo Cardiac Specialists
El Segundo’s daytime population doesn’t always match its residential population, and a fair chunk of CACVI’s South Bay patients work in the aerospace corridor but live in Manhattan Beach, Hawthorne, or Inglewood. The doctors keep early-morning and late-afternoon slots open specifically for patients who can’t burn a full day on a workup. The Beverly Hills office sits about twenty minutes north on the 405, with predictable timing outside of LAX traffic.
Be prepared.
Centinela Hospital takes the acute South Bay cardiac cases, but the response window for sudden cardiac arrest is measured in minutes, not drive times. Most El Segundo office buildings now keep an AED on each floor — if yours doesn’t, push for it. Sustained chest pressure, irregular heartbeat, or fainting on exertion calls for a same-day call to our office, not a note for next month’s annual physical.
A first visit at the Beverly Hills office is roughly ninety minutes: physical exam, medical history with attention to family cardiac history, review of any prior workups from Centinela or your corporate clinic, and labs on-site if we need them. The drive from El Segundo runs about 20 minutes north on the I-405 (longer in the late afternoon). Results and a treatment plan go to your PCP within a week so your routine care stays local.
Protect your heart.
Trust Your Heart to Our Expert Care
About 47% of U.S. adults carry at least one of the three big cardiac risk factors. The El Segundo aerospace and tech workforce skews male, high-stress, and middle-aged — three of the stronger predictors of an early coronary event. AHA data consistently shows workplace screening alone misses a meaningful share of early-stage disease, which is why a baseline cardiology workup carries more weight in your forties than most people expect.
High blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, and smoking are key risk factors for heart disease. About half of Americans (47%) have at least one of these three risk factors.
Our goal at CACVI is to help you achieve healthier living. As a stepping stone to healthier living, our physicians perform a variety of tests right here in our office. Our in-office diagnostic procedures can help our physicians and you determine a course of treatment that may help you improve your health and wellness for a better quality of living.
CACVI’s experienced cardiologists are determined to provide each patient with experienced, compassionate care as they work diligently to improve your health.
