Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) is a less invasive procedure than open heart surgery, optimal for those who have been diagnosed with fatal symptomatic aortic stenosis.
MitraClip is a medical device used to treat mitral valve regurgitation for individuals who should not have open-heart surgery. It is implanted via a tri-axial trans catheter technique and involves suturing together the anterior and posterior mitral valve leaflets.
WATCHMAN™ offers an alternative to the lifelong use of warfarin for people with atrial fibrillation not caused by a heart valve problem (also known as non-valvular AFib).
