Be prepared.
If you haven’t already, we do recommend that all homes and businesses learn how to use and buy AEDs (automated external defibrillators), which can be utilized to revive someone from sudden cardiac arrest.
If you have chest pain or suspect that you have a dangerously fast or chaotic heartbeat that is keeping your heart from supplying enough blood to the rest of your body (ventricular fibrillation), please call us today.
The initial evaluation of San Bernardino County cardiac patients consists of performing a physical examination and obtaining a medical history. During the physical examination, we look for an underlying cause for symptoms that have presented – such as chest pain or shortness of breath – and assess heart function. The medical history will include questions about heart problems or symptoms, family history, medication use and other medical conditions. We may also request laboratory tests, such as urinalysis or blood tests, in order to identify various conditions.
Protect your heart.

What our patients say
We have an office in San Bernardino County
This page is not about a cardiologist who will see you if you drive to Los Angeles. Our High Desert office is at 12441 Hesperia Road in Victorville, inside the county, and it is where patients from the Victor Valley are seen.
That matters here more than it would in the city. San Bernardino County is the largest county by area in the United States, and a drive that would be unthinkable in Los Angeles is ordinary in the High Desert. Being seen locally is not a convenience, it is whether the follow-up appointment happens at all.
What the High Desert already has, and what it does not
Victorville has two hospitals with emergency departments. Desert Valley Hospital is on Bear Valley Road. Victor Valley Global Medical Center has been running since 1967 and operates a cardiac catheterisation laboratory.
So acute cardiac care exists locally. What is thinner on the ground is the ongoing side: the cardiologist who reads your monitor, adjusts the medication, watches the numbers over years and decides when an intervention is warranted rather than reacting once it is urgent.
Our Victorville office covers that. When a procedure needs a larger setting, our physicians also work at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, so the same team follows the case rather than handing it to a stranger.
Tests done locally
EKG, echocardiogram, stress testing and vascular ultrasound are performed at the Victorville office. Rhythm problems that refuse to appear during a twelve-second EKG are investigated with a take-home monitor, read over days.
Leg symptoms are treated here as well: poor circulation, swelling, varicose veins, and wounds that will not close, which in a diabetic population is not a cosmetic question.
